We make the parts that keep filling lines running.
MODUALL TECH manufactures parts for filling lines and the packaging industry. We reproduce worn originals, scan and redesign them, and fix what kept failing. In cooperation with Masitek we also build the container models used in their shock loggers.
What we do
Parts for filling and packaging lines
Machined parts for filling, capping, labelling and conveying equipment, and for packaging machinery in general. Made from a drawing, a sample or a worn original - including parts the manufacturer no longer supplies.
- Guides, star wheels, grippers, bushings, shafts
- Stainless steel, aluminium, POM, PA6, PEEK
- Food-contact materials where required
- Single pieces and short series
Reverse engineering and design
When there is no drawing, we make one. The original is measured or 3D scanned and rebuilt in CAD, and where a part kept wearing out or breaking we change the geometry or the material instead of copying the fault.
- 3D scanning of worn and damaged parts
- CAD documentation handed over to you
- Material change where the original failed
- Design changes agreed before machining
Support on the filling line
Backed by years of experience in the glass packaging industry. We come to the line, look at where containers are being damaged and where efficiency is lost, and work through the change with your team.
- Line walks and troubleshooting on site
- Damage and breakage analysis
- Recommendations for settings and parts
- Follow-up after the parts are fitted
How a part is made
Measure or scan the original
The part is measured by hand or 3D scanned. If it wore out or broke, we look at why before copying it.
Draw it and improve it
The geometry is rebuilt in CAD. We propose a material and any change that will make the part last longer, and confirm it with you.
Machine it
Milled and turned in house, in single pieces or short series, finished to the surface the application needs.
Check and document
Dimensions are checked against the drawing, and the CAD file stays available for the next order.
Working with Masitek
Masitek shock loggers use exact replicas of real containers, fitted with sensors, that travel down the line and record impacts in IPS (additionally also: scuff, squeeze pressure, vertical load and tilt). We build these acrylic container models for Masitek: machined based on the original bottle/jar/can design, with the sensor module fitted, then calibrated - so that the outer geometry perfectly matches the container they stand for.
Models are made in cooperation with Masitek Instruments. The sensors and measurement systems are theirs; the container models are ours.
